Scenario: Maddie had just been bad while we were out last night and steve was gonna give her a talkin to in the car-
Steve: Frankly I am not very happy with your behavior tonight etc. etc etc.
(you get the point right??)
Maddie ( crying): Daddy who is Frankly- Who is Frankly???? I'm not Frankly!

Our family is made up of me (Heather) and my super wonderful husband (Steve) plus our two girls Maddie and Lilly. We wrote this blog to tell the story about our journey to get Greyson Yabsira Wehrheim, the newest addition to our family from Ethiopia. We wanted friends and family to share in all the excitement and watch how God continues to move in our family in the upcoming months and years.

Life is Hard but God is Good
- We started this blog to share in the amazing journey of our adoption. We began this journey two years ago when we felt an ever present tug on our hearts from God for orphan children in Africa. We knew that God had something big planned for us but were not sure quite what he had in store. We look back over the past couple of years and see His hand in everything that has happened to our family and know that the choice to adopt a child from Ethiopia was something He wanted. Life is hard for the millions of orphans in Africa but God has been so good to our family and we hope to share a little bit of that love with our new son.

Ha! I forget all the time how literal kids are! So cute! Can't help but lose a bit of the "seriousness" of the moment at that point, huh?
Hope you are staying warm and cozy with all this March snow! Hey, just to share, I actually ran 2 miles in 20 minutes yesterday. That's all I could do, but it's a start, right? ;-) I am just in so much awe that you are doing one of the biggest marathons ever! You go. I think of you often when I think of my struggle to get to 13.1miles! You are amazing!

hope you aren't losing your mind cooped up in the house. That is great about your running!!! Yippee for you. Hey its all about small steps to the big goal right? I think that is awesome. Hey when you get a chance I want to talk to you about a new ministry for women that i am starting and wanted to see if you knew anyone who might be interested.

Yeah, I'd love to chat about your new ministry stuff. Good for you for serving and going out of something that is already there. When people seek to do new things for God, I get super pumped!
